starline®-technology for the trenchless rehabilitation of pressurized pipelines
We developed the starline® technology for the durable trenchless rehabilitation of pressurized pipelines weakened by age, using fabric hose relining. For almost all jobs in the realms of gas, water, waste water and industry, our efficient green technology offers an alternative to open cut construction.
With the starline® process a seamless, circularly woven adhesive-filled fabric hose with a plastic coating is reversed into the weakened or brittle pipeline using high pressure, and is glued completely to its inner wall. This allows the hydraulic pipe cross section to remain unchanged and with the available statics, operating safety can be re-established sustainably, quickly and efficiently.
Pipe bend mobility and the trenchless opening of existing connections reduce the earthworks to a minimum, saving around 90% of CO2 emissions.
Since 1991, over 700 km of pressurized pipelines have been rehabilitated using our starline® technology. The technology meets all of the relevant industry regulations and is certified for a lifetime of 50 years.
Here you will find further information on the rehabilitation of gas pipelines, drinking water pipelines and waste water pressure pipes in the starline® process.
