Two trough excavation pits and a pipe jacking of DN 1000 each are planned for the project. Large boulder pockets in the ground pose a particular challenge, as they could endanger the jacking head of the system and obstruct rail traffic.
Clever solution
In order to minimize the risks, rail traffic is interrupted for 52 hours and the pipe jacking is carried out using the cut-and-cover method. In this way, the drive can be carried out safely and efficiently.
