As part of the 2017 International Garden Exhibition in Berlin, foundation work was carried out for the cable car system, which features three stations and ten support towers. This included the construction of deep foundations as well as foundation work for all support tower locations and station buildings. The work was carried out with a high degree of precision to ensure long-term compliance with the structural and operational requirements of the cable car system.
The IGA 2017 summer toboggan run was planned not only as a highlight of the event but also as a technical masterpiece in the field of foundation engineering.
