As part of the 2017 International Garden Exhibition in Berlin, the foundation work for the cable car system with three stations and ten supports was carried out. This included the construction of the deep foundations as well as the foundation work for all support locations and station buildings. The work was carried out with a high degree of precision in order to permanently meet the structural and operational requirements of the cable car operation.
The summer toboggan run at the IGA 2017 was not only planned as the highlight of the event, but also as a technical masterpiece in the field of foundation engineering.
