Our company is currently training over 10 apprentices as

  • Civil Engineering Technicians (m/f/d)
  • Pipeline Installers (m/f/d)
  • Sewer construction workers (m/f/d)
  • Industrial Business Administrators (m/f/d)

The hands-on training takes place directly on the construction site. For this purpose, there are special apprentice construction sites in close cooperation with Berliner Wasserbetriebe (BWB).

    • Civil Engineering Technician (m/f/d)

      General Information:

      • Training period: 2 years
      • As a civil engineering technician, you prepare construction sites, construct excavation pits as well as roadways and traffic areas, operate machinery, secure pits against soil slippage, install supply and disposal systems, and drain ditches and construction sites.
        There is the option of pursuing a subsequent one-year advanced apprenticeship, e.g., as a pipeline or sewer installer.

    • Pipeline Installer (m/f/d)

      General Information:

      • Apprenticeship duration: Civil Engineering Technician + 1 year (= 3 years)
      • Pipeline installers lay and assemble pressure pipelines for water, gas, oil, and district heating. You’ll learn how to lay and connect these pipelines, prepare construction sites, excavate and secure construction pits, and operate construction machinery. One of KARL WEISS Technologies’ specialties is its proprietary, patented trenchless methods in the infrastructure sector, which utilize new technologies.

    • Sewer Construction Worker (m/f/d)

      General Information:

      • Apprenticeship duration: Civil Engineering Technician + 1 year (3 years)
      • Sewer construction workers install, build, or rehabilitate storm, combined, and sanitary sewer lines as gravity-flow systems. The sewer builder’s responsibilities also include the professional construction of special structures made of masonry, concrete, or reinforced concrete. You will learn how to prepare construction sites, survey structures and components, excavate and secure construction pits, and operate and maintain construction machinery.

      • Sense of responsibility
      • Ability to work in a team
