In more than 119 years, the construction company KARL WEISS has developed into a high-performance and technology-oriented company through progressive entrepreneurial thinking and action. The KARL WEISS Foundation was established in 2009 and recognized by the Berlin Senate as having legal capacity.
It is a non-profit foundation and is managed by an honorary board of directors.

Innovative trenchless construction methods

KARL WEISS Technologies is active in the field of trenchless construction methods for pipeline construction and in the execution of infrastructure services in civil engineering as well as in classic pipeline and sewer construction. In addition to project management - including major construction projects in civil engineering and urban pipeline construction - we plan construction projects and develop new trenchless technologies in sewer and pressure pipeline construction.

We develop intelligent special proposals in civil engineering and have alternative, customized special machines built for us. Many of our worldwide patented processes in trenchless pipeline construction have since gained recognition beyond the borders of Berlin and Germany. We are currently actively and successfully marketing our own products and know-how in Europe and the USA.

We are a partner of Berliner Wasserbetriebe. The company is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 in all areas, including as a training company.

Our corporate philosophy

We are always guided by principles in all our activities. Our integrated management system consisting of quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management is our central instrument and an integral part of our overall management task, which is aimed at ensuring and constantly increasing customer satisfaction, occupational safety, high quality standards and, last but not least, sustainability for future generations. KARL WEISS Technologies GmbH introduced a certified quality management system back in 1994. We are regularly audited by specialist companies and associations and strive to continuously improve our internal processes.

To ensure that the management system forms the basis for our daily activities, adjustments are made on an ongoing basis and new procedures and work instructions are created as required. All relevant processes are regulated and evaluated in terms of their impact on the environment. The management and all employees are obliged to carry out their quality, environmental and safety-related activities in accordance with the specifications of the integrated management system. The quality and environmental manager, our occupational safety specialist and the responsible specialists and managers are responsible for planning, monitoring and correcting the system, which is practiced by all employees.

Our system is based on the recommendations and requirements of the applicable standards and specifications of DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015, the AMS of BG Bau and the provisions of all regulations, laws and codes of practice to be complied with.
