We strive to make our website usable in accordance with the applicable legal requirements for accessibility (in particular the German Accessibility Strengthening Act – BFSG).

We are continuously working to identify and remove existing barriers.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, the following limitations may currently occur:

  • To prevent spam, we use an invisible form field (so-called honeypot). This field is not relevant for users or assistive technologies and does not affect the usability of the website.
  • In some areas of our website, the color contrast between text and background may not meet the recommended guidelines. This may limit readability for people with visual impairments.
    We are working to gradually improve these contrasts.
  • Our website uses the UIkit 3 framework for slider elements. Certain ARIA attributes (e.g. role, aria-label, tabindex) are generated automatically by the framework. These settings can only be adjusted to a limited extent. As a result, some automated testing tools may report potential deviations from WCAG recommendations.
    We have verified that the slider content remains accessible and usable (e.g. keyboard navigation, screen reader output). If you nevertheless encounter problems when using the sliders, please let us know so that we can work together to find a solution.
